Conner's Testing:
Maple Shade provides ADHD Conner's Testing at all three sites.

We invite you to make an appointment for your child to have an ADHD assessment using the new Conner's ADHD Test. If your child has been diagnosed with attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder, or you think that he or she may be excessively active or has trouble focusing, please consider coming in to see us.

The Conner's ADHD Test gives us objective and accurate data to guide treatment decisions. The system accurately measures micro-motion and analyzes shifts in attention state to give a clear picture of the core symptom areas of ADHD: inattention (the difficulty in staying focused and on task), hyperactivity (the inability to control movement and sit still while working), and impulsivity (the inability to inhibit inappropriate responses). The Quotient ADHD Test takes 15 minutes for kids and is administered right in the office. The report is available within minutes of test completion, so we can discuss the results during the same visit.

Consider a Conners ADHD Test if your child seems to have problems with these symptoms:

ADHD, predominantly hyperactive-impulsive type

ð Fidgets with hands or feet; squirms in chair

ð Has difficulty remaining seated

ð Runs about or climbs excessively

ð Difficulty in engaging in activities quietly

ð Acts as if driven by a motor

ð Talks excessively

ð Blurts out answers before questions are completed

ð Difficulty in waiting or taking turns

ð Interrupts or intrudes upon others

ADHD, combined type

ð Has both sets of inattention and hyperactive/ impulsive symptoms

ADHD, predominantly inattentive type

ð Fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes

ð Has difficulty sustaining attention

ð Does not appear to listen

ð Struggles to follow through on instructions

ð Has difficulty with organization

ð Avoids or dislikes tasks requiring sustained mental effort

ð Loses things

ð Is easily distracted

ð Is forgetful in daily activities

Kids with ADHD can succeed in school and in life. An accurate diagnosis is the first step in learning to manage ADHD.

Genesite Swab Testing:
GeneSight ® is a clinically focused technology developed by Assurex Health that measures and analyzes important genomic variants affecting the metabolism and response to behavioral health medications in individual patients. These laboratory-developed genomic tests serve as a clinical treatment support tool for your practice, providing you with objective genetic-based patient information in advance of making a medication decision for your patient. Knowing a patient’s genetic profile and having it available in a clear and easy to interpret report can help you understand which medications the patient could metabolize properly and help inform treatment choices unique to each patient.

Assurex Health products powered by GeneSight technology include:
GeneSight Psychotropic
  • This test analyzes genes that may affect a patient’s response to antidepressant and antipsychotic medications. The test includes pharmacokinetic genes from the Cytochrome P450 family and pharmacodynamic genes related specifically to the serotonin system are genotyped.
GeneSight MTHFR
  • GeneSight MTHFR is a genetic test that can help clinicians determine if additional folic acid supplementation is necessary.
GeneSight ADHD
  • This test analyzes genes that can affect a patient’s response to ADHD medications, including stimulant and non-stimulant medications. The test includes pharmacokinetic genes from the Cytochrome P450 family and pharmacodynamic genes related to the regulation of neurotransmitters.
GeneSight Analgesic
  • This test analyzes genes that can affect a patient’s response to opioid medications. The test includes pharmacokinetic genes from the Cytochrome P450 family and pharmacodynamic genes that mediate the analgesic effects of commonly prescribed opioid medications. In addition, the report can predict the influence of these genes on the parent drug and active metabolite levels of opioids obtained through urine drug testing.
