About our Respite Program:
Maple Shade respite program is an out of home placement. The program is licensed by the Mental Hygiene Administration for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses . Services are provided in our residential respite home. This service provides a necessary planned break for caregivers of emotionally disturbed children and adolescents.
Goals of Respite Include:
To communicate and coordinate with treatment foster care parents.
To coordinate and communicate with our clients and their families.
To meet the emotional and behavioral needs of the client.
To place the child in the treatment foster care in which they’ll thrive and reach their maximum potential.

This referral has to be made by a licecned mental health professional and the child must be in active mental health treatment.
